Table Mountain
Table Mountain, towering over Cape Town, offers stunning views of the city and ocean. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it attracts visitors for hiking and cable car rides.
Strandloper
On the beach in Langebaan. Join us for a feast of seafood dishes, prepared in true West Coast style, by real West Coast people.
V&A Waterfront
Over 500 retail stores, 80 eateries, 22 historical landmarks, Two Oceans Aquarium, Cape Wheel, leisure boat cruises and museum.
Camps Bay
Upmarket Camps Bay, white sands, natural rock swimming pools and views of the Twelve Apostles Mountain. Behind the beach, posh seafood restaurants, mellow cafes and cocktail bars with patios overlook the promenade.
Bo-Kaap “above the Cape”
Formerly known as the Malay Quarter. Bo-Kaap is known for its brightly distinctive pastel coloured houses. The area contains the largest concentration of pre-1850 architecture in South Africa, and the oldest surviving residential neighborhood in Cape Town.
Wine Farms
A wine farm is one where you can happily linger all day in a spectacular setting, magnificent views, gorgeous architecture and bucket loads of atmosphere. Be spoiled with fantastic food and wine.
District Six
The museum contain maps, photographs and other reminder of this old vibrant neighborhood . The museum stands testament to this politically and historically area of Cape Town.

- Pick up and drop off to and from the Cape Town Airport and hotel in the Cape Town area
- All transport to and from Pickleball courts, accommodation and excursions

Food and drink
All 11 breakfasts are included on the trip, taken at our local accommodation. On day 11 we will have a lovely champagne brunch.
Four lunches will be provided. All other lunches and drinks are at your own expense.
Three dinners will be provided. All other dinners including non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are at your own expense and will give you the opportunity to explore Cape Town’s world class local cuisine.
Daily non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be provided at the courts and on excursions.
For the 4 lunches and 3 dinners included in the tour, local alcoholic drinks will be provided.
What if I need or want to stay extra nights beyond the tour?
If you require any additional nights accommodation near Cape Town Airport, the Hotel Verde Cape Town Airport is an excellent choice with free airport shuttle to and from Cape Town Airport and less than 5 minutes drive from airport.
How do we get to Cape Town
Flights to Cape Town International Airport, CPT are widely available from most international destinations.
As players come from all over the world, and join our tours, we don’t currently offer flights as part of our tour package. We do however want to do as much as we can to ensure that our guests get the best deals when travelling so check out the following websites:

Money, Extra Expenses and Tipping
The local currency in South Africa is the Rand, ZAR. ATMs are widely available in Cape Town, please note that the ATMs only dispense cash in the local currency, Rand, and the Rand is the only currency excepted.
All major bank/credit cards are accepted at the local ATMs and at all restaurants and shops. It is advised to have small denominations, R10, R20, R50 for tipping.
You can purchase ZAR currency from your local bank before your trip. You should bring extra money with you to cover such items as extra meals, drinks, souvenirs, etc.
The guides can advise on local norms for service providers and waiters.
Passports and Visas
Non-residents of South Africa require a full passport to enter the country, which should be valid for at least six months beyond the expected length of stay. Your passport should have at least 2 blank pages when you present it at immigration to enter or leave South Africa.
If visiting South Africa for tourism purposes for a period of less than 90 days, you don’t need a visa. We strongly recommend, however, that you check visa requirements prior to travel as requirements are subject to change. For more information on visas contact the South African High Commission or the South African Department of Home Affairs.
Vaccinations
You should check prior to travel whether you need a yellow fever certificate by visiting the National Travel Health Network and Centre’s TravelHealthPro website.
Travel Insurance and Medical Insurance
We consider comprehensive travel insurance to be essential, and we strongly recommend that you purchase insurance which includes, but is not limited to, cover for illness, accident, emergency repatriation, ambulance, air ambulance, helicopter rescue services, cancellation, lost luggage and delays. Please read your policy details carefully and remember to take them with you on your trip for your own reference.
As a valued TWO OCEANS guest, you are required to have in place travel/medical insurance that covers you for all activities you will be taking part in during your trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fully covered for these activities.
Whatever travel policy you decide on, you will need to bring a copy of your current Certificate of Insurance to the welcome briefing at the start of your holiday. Your guides will need to take a note of your insurer, policy number and the number to call in case of an emergency claim.
Travel & timings
This trip officially begins on Monday at 3pm, when you can check into the guesthouse and settle into your room.
The trip finishes twelve days later on Friday morning after a leisurely breakfast. Check out is at 11am.
Travel Plugs & Electricity
When you are going on a trip to South Africa, it is important to pack the appropriate travel adapter that fits the local sockets. The type N socket and plug are the official standard in South Africa. Type C plugs are also official, but not type C sockets.

This trip has a maximum group size of 12 people (including players and non-players) and will be accompanied by 2 guides at all times.
